No offense Eroica, I've heard Fidelio just three or four times and I find that is enough. I have to say that in general I'm not a big opera fan. Mainly this is because I don't like mainstream solo vocal production, and prefer the HIP (historically-informed performance practice) approach with a more, let us say, "natural" vocal style (I;e. less bellowing and much, much less vibrato which I can't stand). That said, I like early, pre-Mozart opera.
